James sobbed and screamed on his first day at nursery, and I wept the whole walk home, but when I rang up an hour later he was having a great time, and I never had any fuss about him going in again.  Coz he's in reception in the same school with all the same children, he hasn't batted an eyelid, although he's adament that he's not staying all day!   He's just doing half days until Friday!

Daisy is normally very clingy, and never settled properly at playschool.  She still cried every day until she left in July, but she was fantastic this morning. She just ran in saying 'bye bye Mummy, see you later' and came running out, all smiles, covered in orange paint and telling me all about her day!

i took a batch of parcels the other day, and the woman on the till made me fill out my own proofs of postage for each one cos she'd "be here all day" if she did it herself - felt like saying, well you're here till 5.30 and getting paid for it so why do i have to do you chuffing job for ya?    :roll:  lol   - and the man who works there always closes his window if im next in the queue so he doesnt have to serve me - think i'll have to start spreading me self about a bit  and go to different post offices
